Now UPSRTC Short Route buses run directly from source departure to destination, before this decision all buses were stay at road side eateries called Dhabas.
Now UPSRTC decided that short route bus which is running for 70 to 90 hilometer will not stop at any Dhabas. Only long route buses are allowed to stop at designated roadside eateries. The bus will stop for 30 minute only.
UPSRTC Bareilly Regional Manager said, on many routes buses are not running on time in a survey and drivers randomly taking breaks during journey at road side eateries.
After this short routes buses are not allowed to stop on the way to journey.
